ROSE-ilience is an image I designed as a shareable icon of solace and strength in the wake of the Santa Rosa, California wildfires in October 2017.

It became the tentpole of my robust fundraising campaign to help those affected by the North Bay fires, offered first as an enamel lapel pin and expanding into other merchandise. With the help of affiliated licensees, ROSE-ilience has raised a cumulative $60,000 for fire relief. As the community rebuilds, it's become a widely used icon in the City of Santa Rosa's rebranding as it recovers from this major natural disaster.

I was honored to receive a Community Philanthropy Award and Forty Under Forty Award from the North Bay Business Journal for this work, and to be featured in exhibitions at the Museums of Sonoma County and Sonoma State University.
